DESMOND GERARD GREENWOOD

Desmond was educated at University of Sydney (BSc, Dip Ed), University of London (LLB) and University of Hong Kong (PCLL). He was admitted in Hong Kong in 1995 and joined Hampton, Winter and Glynn the same year. He was an assistant solicitor with the Litigation department until 2000 and currently serves as a Consultant to the firm.

Desmond was admitted as a Legal Practitioner in New South Wales, Australia in 2003.

Desmond has always had an interest in the academic side of the law and has been a lecturer in Land Law, Contract and Tort Law at the University of Hong Kong both part-time and full-time since 1994. He co-authored "Contract Law in Hong Kong" which was published in 2007. He is currently a weekly guest on Radio 3 RTHK commenting on legal matters.

Desmond was a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administration and of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
