Desmond Greenwood is a litigator focusing on land and contract law and tort. He also practises criminal litigation. Having been with the firm’s Litigation Department from 1995 until 2000, he rejoined Hampton, Winter and Glynn as a Consultant in 2001.
Desmond has always had an interest in the academic side of the law and has been a lecturer in land law, contract law and tort at the University of Hong Kong, both part-time and full-time since 1994. He co-authored ‘Contract Law in Hong Kong’ which was published in 2007 and is an occasional radio commentator on legal matters.
He was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1995 and as a legal practitioner in New South Wales, Australia in 2003.
