WINNIE CHOW ADDRESSES 4^TH LAWASIA FAMILY LAW CONFERENCE, 13/14 JULY 2012

Winnie Chow and Elaine Sum (Partners) and Esther Ho and Calvin Loke (Associates) represented HWG at the 4^th LAWASIA Family Law Conference, held in Penang, Malaysia on 13^th/14^th July 2012. Under the heading ‘The New Global Family’, the Conference examined emerging trends and challenges to family practice.

Winnie Chow presented a paper on the scope for, and hindrances to, more humane divorce proceedings in Hong Kong. The paper was jointly prepared and delivered with Ms Linda Heathfield, Partner, Ip and Heathfield and can be viewed here.

Winnie Chow also served as a panelist in the conference’s session on the Future of Family Law (‘Family Lawyer: An Endangered Species?’)
